Application Development
The Application Development program provides students with training in object-oriented languages and multimedia programming and hardware and software skills.



Centralia College offers two degree tracks. The Associate in Arts degree is for students intending to transfer to earn a bachelor's degree. The Associate in Applied Science is a career and technical degree for students intending to enter the workforce.
Student learning is central to the college’s mission. All associate of arts, associate of science, and MRP/DTA degrees are designed to provide experiences that lead to the attainment of general education outcomes as embodied in the following student learning competencies:
- Critical Analysis: the student effectively evaluates information and creates solutions through observation, reflection, reasoning, and experience.

- This program is intended to transfer to four-year colleges for further instruction.
- It is extremely important that you identify the institution you intend to transfer to as soon as possible. Some computer science programs have specific requirements and prerequisites.
- The sequence below begins with MATH& 141 Pre-Calculus I. If possible, start with MATH& 151 Calculus I.

Note for Students
The AAS is not intended to transfer to four-year colleges. This is a hands-on career training program. Graduates are ready to enter the workforce upon degree completion. Classes are scheduled in-person and online.
