Centralia College begins fall quarter on Sept. 20. Important information for students is included below.

Students Awarded Financial Aid for Fall

To check the status of your financial aid for fall, login to your ctcLink account.

TUITION AND BALANCE CHECKS

Financial Aid awarding is still in process. Balance checks for fall quarter are going out as quickly as possible, but you may experience delays receiving funding.

What You Need to Know 

  • You should continue to attend classes while financial aid is being processed.
  • You will NOT be dropped from your classes for non-payment. 
  • If you met the priority application deadline, checks will be issued in small batches starting Sept. 17.
  • Checks will be mailed as soon as they are generated.
  • Additional funding may be available for eligible students – please see below.

 

All Student Please Do This:

  • Login to ctcLink to view your To-Do List AND verify your Check Address. Checks will be mailed to the Check Address on file in ctcLink.
    • To verify your Check Address: Login to ctcLink > go to Student Homepage > Click Profile > click Addresses. Make sure your Mailing Address and your Check Address are the same.

Additional Funding for Books

You may need to purchase books and supplies before your check arrives. Funding for books and supplies may be available through Workforce Funding.

If you have already been approved for a Workforce Funding program that includes books, you can go to the ctcLink Student Self-Service page (click on the Financial Aid tile) to view your book award.

Contact the Financial Aid Office immediately via email at financialaid@centralia.edu if you drop any of your classes and your enrollment status changes (see below):

FINANCIAL AID REINSTATEMENT / APPEALS FOR GRADES

If you need to appeal for financial aid reinstatement based on your summer quarter grades, the deadline is Friday, Sept. 10, at 4 p.m. If you failed to meet satisfactory academic standards for financial aid, we will call and email you regarding cancellation status. It is important that you return that call asap. There is no extension to the appeal deadline. Download an appeal form (pdf). Please contact our office immediately via email at financialaid@centralia.edu with any questions.

BOOKS FOR BFET, WORKFIRST, WORKER RETRAINING, AND OPPORTUNITY GRANT 

Book accounts for BFET, WorkFirst, Worker Retraining, and Opportunity Grant will be available Sept. 16-Oct. 1. Please note all purchases must be in-store only. Web orders for these programs will not be accepted.
